How Trending works
Released games (including Early Access) and upcoming games are two separate charts. Released games rank by momentum: players at their peak over the last 24 hours, growth against the previous days and new reviews. A launch gets a boost that grows with its player count and fades over its first week, so a big launch goes straight to the top. Upcoming games rank by Steam follower growth over the last day and week, weighed against the audience they already have, so small projects can climb. We started tracking on Sep 23, 2026; growth needs a few days of history, until then size counts for more. Hover a rank to see what moved the game.

Sourced, not guessed
A game enters GameDB only with a public source for its AI use: the AI disclosure on its Steam page or a statement from the developer. Every label links back to it.
Open ranking rules
Trending ranks released games by player momentum — launches, growth and new reviews — and upcoming games by follower growth, weighed against audience size. Every game shows what moved it.
Numbers with an origin
Players, earnings, wishlists and stars are shown separately, each with its source. Estimates are marked “est.” and explain their method. A Verified badge means the developer claimed the page and confirmed how the game uses AI.
