LUNA: Obscura is my own project (Sosoros). I built the world, levels, creatures and visual identity myself over two years. ANORMIC was contracted in the final stretch for programming and sound design.
Where AI was used:
Cover art: in-engine renders, extended with AI trained only on my own artworks and sculpts, then painted over and composited by hand.
Cinematic sequences: in-engine shots of our own levels and creatures, extended with AI.
Enemy voices: the infected crew use AI-generated vocal sounds, a deliberate choice so they sound human but can't be understood.
Everything else is made by people. The paintings and sculptures on the base walls are real artworks I made by hand. Some environment assets are licensed from the Unreal Engine Marketplace.
For my next games, no AI goes into the art, animation or sound that players see and hear.
