Part of Ashram's art is produced with the help of generative AI tools. Specifically: the item and armor-set illustrations you see in your inventory, and the concept images used as visual reference during development, are generated with image models and then cropped, retouched and adjusted by hand until they match the game's style.
Some 3D equipment meshes start from a model generated out of those illustrations. None of them ship as they come: every piece is corrected, decimated, rigged and fitted to the body by hand, one at a time, before it can be worn.
All of this happens during development. Ashram does not generate content with AI while you play: there are no dialogues, characters, texts or images created live, and the game never sends what you type or do in the world to any AI service.
