Every piece of art, animation and audio in SOS: Forgotten Planet is made by hand, and every word of the game's writing — story, dialogue, item descriptions, notes — was written by me. No generative AI was used for any of it.
All voice-over is performed by real actors. There is no synthesized speech in this game. The game is voiced in English only; the other supported languages are subtitled.
AI was used in two places, and I would rather say so plainly than have you find out.

Translation. The game is written in English and machine-translated into the other supported languages, checked against a maintained glossary of names, terminology and character voice. I am one person working on a very small budget, and the honest version is that this was AI translation or no translation at all. Most of these languages would simply not have been supported otherwise.
I am not satisfied with leaving the translations there. I am actively looking for help improving them, and community corrections are being folded in as they arrive. If you speak one of the supported languages and something reads wrong — a mistranslation, a stiff line, a term that should be different — please come to the Discord and tell me. It genuinely makes the game better.
